Purpose of the role:
The R2R Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end financial reporting and accounting activities. Understanding of all new local compliance policies in respect of closing is necessary. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and process improvement of each local market.
R2R Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. They will be partners with in-market Financial Business Partners and other cross-functional teams while providing continuous support, building strong relationship with all the stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Management: Overseeing and leading the GL and Reporting teams, including directing, guiding, and mentoring team members, as well as managing workload and performance evaluations.

Financial Accounting and Reporting: Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

GL Operations and Compliance: Managing GL operations, such as journal entries and reconciliations, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Reporting and Analysis: Leading the development of financial reports and analyses, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Process Improvement and Optimization: Identifying and implementing process improvements, leveraging technology and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with cross-functional teams and ensuring effective communication with GL, reporting, and relevant departments.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial data, analyzing variances, and assisting with adjustments as needed.

Strategic Planning and Decision Support: Contributing to strategic planning through financial analysis and offering insights for informed decision-making.
Requirements:

Bachelor in Finance Accounting

Qualified accountant or equivalent (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)/equivalent local professional qualification is mandatory

10 years of experience of finance accounting is mandatory

Experience of working in a finance shared service

Previous experience of working as a Chief Accountant within a local market is highly desirable

Experience in change and transformation projects, including process reengineering, technology implementations, and cultural change initiatives

English and Hungarian on professional level

Willingness to relocate to Prague, Czech Republic - we are ready to provide support if needed!

Advanced IT/excel skills, prior SAP/HFM or equivalent is an advantage

ABS encompass a broad range of financial activities designed to support businesses in their day-to-day financial operations, long-term planning, and compliance with regulations. These services are crucial for maintaining financial health, making informed decisions, and achieving the overall financial objectives of the organization. The key outputs of ABS are to provide accounting services including the summarizing and reporting of financial transactions of a business, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. ABS is also responsible to adhere to multi-jurisdiction financial regulations and reporting requirements, including ensuring compliance with these regulations and ensure accurate and timely reporting to relevant authorities.
