PLANNING SYSTEM ANALYST

Planning Systems Analyst is part of the team responsible for analysing, designing, building and maintaining demand and supply applications used by planning teams across markets, where Asahi runs brewery operations in Europe. Planning Systems Analyst participates in support and maintenance of planning applications (e.g. Nostra for demand planning, ESCAPE for supply planning, and other)

 

In this position you will:

  • Analyses system performance, incidents and defects raised by users in case of problems of basic to medium complexity (using basic debugging techniques and tools).
  • Has high-level knowledge about all planning systems, including deep knowledge in specific services (how they interact, and data flows between systems). Provides advice to users about systems’ setup and resolves issues raised by them.
  • Supports maintenance of source code version control (using SVN and/or Git technologies)
  • Participates in unit testing of functionalities delivered by Planning Systems team
  • Creates functional and technical documentation for planning tools
  • They represent the first line of support to user community. Maintains communication between users and developers.

 

Qualification Criteria

  • High school degree (preferably in computer science, math, engineering) or
  • Basic experience in software development (as part of the job or demonstrated through individual projects)
  • Proven experience in programming and technologies: C#, VBA, .NET is an advantage
  • Experience in databases (MS SQL Server)
  • English at communicative level (B2-C1), Czech is a plus
