FINANCE ANALYST

Main purpose of the job

Based in the one of the AEI operating markets, the Finance Analyst ISE will prepare insightful analysis and reporting on the Regions forecasts and financial planning within Manufacturing and Supply Chain. The role holder will support the Regional Manufacturing and Supply Chain Business Partner in delivering an in depth understanding of the business and associated risks and opportunities. The role will support key hub projects across the Europe region.

 

Reporting to the Regional Manufacturing and Supply Chain Business Partner, the individual will work closely with the hub finance team, Hub Manufacturing and Supply chain team, country finance Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams throughout the region.

 

More specifically, you will be trusted to:

1. Analysis and reporting

 

Delivery of insightful month end hub reporting including:

  • Robust understanding of businesses performance within ISE, risks and opportunities.
  • Robust understanding of external dynamics (ndustry and competitor) within the market place.
  • Maintenance of ISE country flash reporting templates.
  • Review of ISE country submissions and production of initial draft of hub report for review including insightful commentary based on market reports and follow up with business units where required.
  • Research & draft of responses to Asahi Group requests.
  • Provides assistance to ISE Finance BP

 

 

Transfer price anlysis and reporting:

  • Review of ISE country submissions for Transfer price calculation and production of initial draft of hub report for review including insightful commentary based on market reports and follow up with business units where required.
  • Research & draft of responses to country and Transfer Price team request requests.
  • Development of business unit reporting templates for Transfer price calculation and true-up

 

2. Support Regional Manufacturing and Supply Chain Business Partner in delivering the regional and Budget Management report

 

  • Development of business unit reporting templates and management of MTP, Forecasts and Budget plus 2 reporting requirements for ISE.
  • Providing clear analysis of business performance and issues at a business unit and total Europe level for forecasts and Budget plus 2.
  • Preparing and analysing the Regional budget, identifying trends, opportunities and risks, and key areas for enhancement of operating performance.
  • Supporting preparation of concise, insightful commentary to be included in reports.
  • Support the review of Manufacturing and Supply Chain country submissions for CAPEX and production of initial draft of hub report for review including insightful commentary based on market reports and follow up with business units where required.
  • Support in Hub ISC Fixed cost budget, forecasting and monitoring

 

3. Benchmarking

 

  • Develop and maintain model to capture regular benchmarking data across the region to support the business in driving efficiencies and best practice e.g. assist with Manufacturing and Supply Chain team to identify cost benchmarks, set targets, work with local or regional teams to drive cost savings across the business.
  • Develop benchmarking report to regularly and effectively communicate insights available from data capture exercise.

 

4. Other

 

  • Assist in various financial & other projects.

 

Do you have what it takes?

  • A graduate Accountant (preferably ACCA/CIMA).
  • Previous FMCG experience, is an advantage.
  • Solid background in finance with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Good attention to detail essential.
  • Ability to liaise with people at all levels, including ability to work with senior management.
  • Solid leadership attributes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Quick learner with an ability to solve problems outside of their comfort zone.
  • Good organisational skills with an ability to prioritise workload appropriately.
  • Language skills: English essential. Second language an advantage.
