Join Our Dynamic Team as a Finance Business Analyst in Prague!
Purpose of the role:
In this role you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, identifying business opportunities, and communicating findings to stakeholders. You will assess business operations, liaise between departments, and recommend improvements to enhance business performance by closely communicating with Regional Process Owners and supporting their priorities and main responsibilities.
This role includes gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing data, developing project documentation, conducting market research, and supporting business strategies.
You will collaborate with functions such as Finance, Procurement, Planning, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to ensure end-to-end adoption of processes.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure team documentation and governance follow guidelines, facilitate approval for changes, and update relevant systems for any process modifications.
- Ensure effective governance by managing project documentation, workflow, and delivery readiness to support team goals.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence and effective communication to drive company objectives.
- Analyze business processes, systems, and data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including requirements, process flows, and user stories.
- Provide actionable insights through complex data analysis and regular performance reviews.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings, offering analytical support.
- Assist in developing and implementing business strategies and solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform decisions.
- Coordinate and supervise UAT sessions, ensuring system alignment with business goals and preparing training materials.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in business analysis, ideally within FMCG/manufacturing.
- Key Attributes: Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience in gathering and analyzing data for business growth opportunities.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Azure DevOps skills. Familiarity with SAP ECC, B1, S/4HANA, CRM (ServiceNow), Power BI is a plus. Knowledge of SAP Concur, BlackLine, is advantageous.
- Project Management: Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and setting up governance/reporting frameworks for regional processes.
- Advanced English (additional languages are a plus).

Functional overview
ABS encompass a broad range of financial activities designed to support businesses in their day-to-day financial operations, long-term planning, and compliance with regulations. These services are crucial for maintaining financial health, making informed decisions, and achieving the overall financial objectives of the organization. The key outputs of ABS are to provide accounting services including the summarizing and reporting of financial transactions of a business, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. ABS is also responsible to adhere to multi-jurisdiction financial regulations and reporting requirements, including ensuring compliance with these regulations and ensure accurate and timely reporting to relevant authorities. In addition to this, ABS is to use effectively use financial software and systems to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data security.
