Purpose of the role:
The main purpose of the Reporting Specialist role is to collect, analyze, and present data in a clear and concise manner. They are responsible for creating reports and dashboards that provide insights and support decision-making processes within the organization.
Responsibilities:

Customer Pricing Maintenance: Maintain customer on-invoice pricing and retrospective discounts in SAP, ensuring updates are in line with pricing policies and approved forms.

Intercompany Reconciliations: Manage intercompany recharges, reconciliations, and confirmations to ensure accurate financial records.

Daily and Month-End Reporting: Compile and prepare detailed month-end accrual journals, P&Ls, flash reports, and balance sheet reconciliations for reporting purposes.

Invoice Processing: Verify and process customer invoices for discounts using systems like SAP and Concur, ensuring compliance with pricing policies.

Budget and Profit Analysis: Assist in collating, analyzing, and preparing annual budget and profit forecast schedules, including P&Ls and detailed analyses.

Royalty Reporting: Compile revenue and royalty information, manage accruals, generate invoices, and validate intercompany royalty balances.

Audit and Compliance Support: Prepare statutory accounts, collaborate with audit teams, and assist in year-end tax computation and returns.

Process Improvement and Ad Hoc Projects: Actively participate in process enhancement initiatives and handle special assignments to improve financial reporting operations.
Requirements:
- Ideally bachelor in Finance Accounting
- 2-3 years of eexperience of working in finance/ commerical shared services functions
- Experience of working within regional teams in a matrix environment is advantageous
- English at a professional level
- Good IT/excel skills, SAP is an advantage
- Knowledge of relevant finance systems tools is desirable

ABS encompass a broad range of financial activities designed to support businesses in their day-to-day financial operations, long-term planning, and compliance with regulations. These services are crucial for maintaining financial health, making informed decisions, and achieving the overall financial objectives of the organization. The key outputs of ABS are to provide accounting services including the summarizing and reporting of financial transactions of a business, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. ABS is also responsible to adhere to multi-jurisdiction financial regulations and reporting requirements, including ensuring compliance with these regulations and ensure accurate and timely reporting to relevant authorities. In addition to this, ABS is to use effectively use financial software and systems to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data security.
