QA Expert Innovation/Procurement

Sr.QA Expert/Innovation&Procurement/Loc:one of our Breweries


Location: Flexible within our European operating markets. Our preference is to have you located in one of our breweries


Lead the AEI Innovation and Procurement quality performance, quality standards and processes and ensure the alignment to Asahi Quality Assurance standards and procedures. Actively contribute to other quality improvement projects and initiatives within the regional Quality Assurance function.



1.           Responsible for AEI Innovation and Procurement quality performance, quality standards and processes


2.           Ensure that Asahi Quality Assurance Standards are designed into region’s Innovation and Procurement processes and fully implemented


3.           Lead the quality risk audits within AEI Innovation and Procurement functions and ensure that the improvement plans are established and implemented


4.           Lead the AEI Supplier Technical Accreditation process for brewing and packaging materials


5.           Lead / participate on supplier’s technical audits for centrally procured materials and ensure that the improvement plans are established and implemented


6.           Support the ongoing expertise development of the AEI materials auditors and maintain a high level of awareness on quality topics across Innovation and Procurement functions


7.           Further develop and coordinate the implementation of the Supplier Quality Management System to ensure a standardized approach across AEI and ensure conformance with the Asahi quality requirements


8.           Ensure that the brewing and packaging materials standards are updated and relevant by reviewing them regularly together with Procurement and the HUB Brewing and Packaging SME’s


9.           Support the Supplier Performance Management system by reviewing the quality results together with Procurement and make recommendations for improvement


10.         Ensure that a standardized process is applied across AEI for managing the brewing and packaging materials quality incidents  


11.         Responsible for the investigation of critical quality incidents on behalf of AEI for brewing and packaging materials and for ensuring that the appropriate corrective and preventative measures are implemented, and key learnings are shared across AEI


12.         Assess the capability of third party manufactures to produce to AEI requirements on quality, food safety and brand technical footprint. Lead the transfer of new/existing products to third party manufacturers


13. Actively contribute to other Quality improvement projects and initiatives, besides Innovation and Procurement areas, within regional Quality Assurance function





•            MSc Degree in Food technology, Brewing or Engineering

•            Certified ISO internal auditor (quality & food safety)

•            10+ year in manufacturing, whereof 5+ years in Quality Assurance in large breweries or food industry companies

•            Experience in supplier quality management

•            Deep knowledge of QA tools and methodologies

•            Deep knowledge on packaging materials quality is a must, complemented by good knowledge on brewing materials quality

•            Computer competence including experience with databases & Microsoft Office

•            Proficiency in English essential, second language with AEI relevance preferable

•            Driving license
