Join Our Team as a Regional Process Owner OTC

 

Purpose of the role:

 

The Regional Process Owner (RPO) is responsible for optimizing specific business processes within a designated region in ABS.

Their role involves analyzing, streamlining, and standardizing processes to improve efficiency and compliance.

They will collaborate with various departments, monitor performance metrics, manage change, and facilitate continuous improvement.

Effective communication and fostering a culture of operational excellence are key aspects of their job, being essential for achieving the company's overall objectives.

 

On a daily basis you will:

 

  • The Regional Process Owner (RPO) collaborates closely with ABS market managers to streamline and simplify processes, overseeing their implementation. This proactive approach ensures that regional processes are created, optimized, harmonized, and consistent across different markets, enhancing overall operational efficiency.
  • The RPO integrates finance requirements into the processes, they proactively identify and resolve challenges that arise, showcasing their problem-solving skills. This collaborative effort ensures that financial considerations are thoroughly examined, contributing significantly to the organization's financial health.
  • The RPO fosters collaboration with automation teams, digital experts (IT), and finance business partners. They define project requirements and align them with organizational objectives, ensuring that projects are technologically advanced and strategically aligned. This role highlights the RPO's function as a bridge between technological innovation and the organization's overarching goals.
  • In addition to their collaborative endeavors, the RPO takes on the responsibility of continuous assessment. They regularly evaluate processes for efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement. This proactive approach drives ongoing initiatives to enhance operational performance, reflecting the RPO's commitment to continuous optimization and organizational excellence.
  • Responsible for the documentation and governance of the specific finance processes, ensures approval of any changes are in line with the governance model, and make sure that  the modification/changes of the defined processes are created/amended in the correct systems. Chair/attends the RPO council.

 

Requirements:

  •  Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Management, Operations Management or others.
  • Years of Experience: 2-5 years working as a Regional Process Owner within finance processes; FMCG/manufacturing background.
  • Language skills/levels: English
  • Computer literacy requirements: Signavio, document, and process mapping tools
  • Other qualifications/requirements:
  • Process ownership, Experience of working in shared services functions, 
  • Experience of setting up regional processes moving from market to region.
  • Setting up governance and controls to ensure adoption is adhered to
  • Creating reporting and compliance reports
  • Working in a matrix organization within finance and other supporting functions
