The Role: Regional Sustainability Reporting Lead
As the Sustainability Reporting Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with key sustainability reporting frameworks, including CSRD, TCFD, and CSDDD, across AEI. You will lead a dedicated team to manage the end-to-end non-financial reporting process, ensuring alignment with ESRS standards and driving sustainable practices throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with CSRD, CSDDD, and TCFD reporting requirements across AEI.
- Lead and manage the CSRD reporting team, overseeing data collection, content development, and external verification processes.
- Develop and manage the overall reporting framework, establish internal control structures, and define ESG measurement criteria based on ESRS standards.
- Lead CSRD preparedness across AEI, providing teams in markets with guidance on their involvement.
- Monitor the evolving ESG regulatory landscape and ensure timely and accurate compliance.
- Provide training and guidance to teams across Hub and markets on reporting governance, processes, and controls.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Internal Audit) and external consultants, auditors, and communication agencies.
- Lead the preparatory work for CSRD reporting, including materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, climate risk assessment, and external stakeholder engagement.
- Analyze ESG reporting data, identifying trends and actionable insights for improvement.
- Develop and implement new governance strategies and risk management principles to ensure compliance and optimize reporting processes.
What We’re Looking For
- University degree with at least 7 years of experience in project management, sustainability, reporting, or communication.
- At least 5 years of proven managerial experience.
- Proficiency in English and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-national work environment.
- Experience leading teams and managing complex reporting processes.
- Knowledge of ESG regulations, particularly CSRD, CSDDD, and TCFD.
