STATUTORY ACCOUNTANT

Asahi Europe & International Marketing organisation consists of both local country-based marketers with accountability for local brands as well as central marketers leading the highlighted 5 global brands. In addition, a central leadership team drives functional excellence in Innovation, Capability, Strategy and Insights.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Preparing month-end accruals journals and schedules.

• Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

• Assisting with month-end Internal Audit files.

• Follow-up of all changes in tax law and validation of process compliance

• Preparing for selected jurisdictions.

• Ensuring compliance with the IR standard policy and process.

• Adhering to local compliance requirements.

• Ensure compliance with the IR standard of internal control.

Requirements :

• Bachelor  in Finance Accounting

• Qualified accountant or equivalent (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)/equivalent local professional qualification is desirable

• 2-3 years of experience in working in finance shared services functions/ experience of working within regional teams in a matrix environment is advantageous

• English and German on a professional level.

• Advanced IT/excel skills, prior SAP/HFM or equivalent is an advantage
