Warehouse Operative - Cornish Orchards
Cornish Orchards are looking to add a Warehouse Operative to our passionate team of 22 local staff.
Key Purpose
To assist with intake and despatch of product to meet internal and external customer requirements, safely and efficiently.
To execute effective data processing through SAP ERP system to assure accurate stock management at all times.
Key Accountabilities
The Warehouse Operative is responsible for the following key outputs and accountabilities:
Warehouse Operations
- Work in a team to ensure efficient receipt & despatch of goods
- Maintain clean and tidy warehouse operations to department 5S standards
- Ensure the health and safety of staff within the workplace.
- Supply of raw & packaging materials to production teams
- Scheduling of 3rd Partly Logistic collections & deliveries.
- Picking orders for wholesale / retail customers as required
Stock Management
- Ensure accuracy of Raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods stock.
- Receipt and issuing of stock movements on SAP ERM
- Regular and effective Stock taking/audit as instructed
Experience and Skills Required
- Numeracy and PC skills – Competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good organisational and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
- Aware of safety of self and others
- Maintain good communication with other employees
- Experience of computerised stock programs
- Willingness to obtain training to CIEH Food Safety level 2
- Counterbalance forklift licence or willingness to obtain licence and operate FLT on regular basis
