Sales Operations Executive 

 

Key Purpose Statement 

 

The primary responsibilities of the Sales Operations Executive role with Asahi UK Field Sales are:

 

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Field Sales Teams.
  • Improve the commercial efficiency and effectiveness of the Field Sales teams by completing essential commercial administration and monitoring.
  • Build excellent working relationships with the Field Teams and cross functional departments in order to facilitate and improve in the pace of action completion.

 

Key Accountabilities 

 

  • Commercial Administration
  • Manage the Contract Works application – Logging new contracts, tagging, uploading, and generating reports.
  • Processing the New Vendor customer forms in collaboration with Accounts Payable and administering the complete set up of customers in the AI forecasting tool.
  • Raising requested Purchase Orders for Field Sales and managing them through the approval process to completion by adding to the TIPS, maintaining a tracker and communicating with the requestor.
  • Reporting and Tracking
  • Create regional league tables in line with win business wins 
  • Producing reports to monitor Commercial Asset Management and Commercial Investment Governance.
  • Sales initiative and strategy tracking.
  • Customer Sales Support
  • Create retailer profile/set-up on Bar Analytics for Telemetry customers
  • Field Sales Team and Cross Functional Working
  • Own the central Microsoft Teams Field Sales folders for communication updates and central tracking tools/team wide action logs.
  • Key Project support to RSMs – Project Agile Automations, Nagareboshi, , , Sustainability Initiatives etc
  • To build effective inter-departmental relationships and an understanding of the business to use the resources available and network to maximise opportunities.
  • Attend Mon morning objectives setting calls with RSM & Regional team and Regional team meetings.
  • New starter and New leaver action and induction planning support.
  • Liaison between Field Sales and other support functions
  • Support the National Accounts Teams (On- & Off-Trade) with annual Price Increase process

 

 

Experience Required

 

  • Working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer experience required (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams & PowerPoint). 
  • Project Management / Coordinator skills – dealing with multiple stakeholders / deadlines preferred.
  • Working in an environment where customer service & helping sales teams to focus on this is the top priority.
  • Experience in working with internal colleagues across different functions.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and an ability to communicate effectively - at all levels across the organisation - face to face or virtually/phone.
  • Able to take the initiative and have a strong sense of ownership and accountability for their own results.
  • Candidate must be able to work closely as a business partner to the Field Sales teams and be flexible to the ever-changing UK on-trade market and needs of the business.
  • Thorough and conscientious operator with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and the flexibility to focus on multiple tasks over a working day.
  • Curious to challenge where appropriate and suggest improvements where seen.
  • Strong team player.
  • Basic analytical skills.
  • An ability to learn quickly and a strong drive to succeed.
