HYGIENE SPECIALIST

🍺 What You’ll Be Doing

We are looking for a person who wants to undertake a professional path starting from a role of Hygiene Specialist

Within the Quality Assurance Team, the main purpose of the role is Hygiene Specialist is to provide operational and technical support for hygiene concerns and continuous improvement initiative. Working cross-functionally, will collaborate to ensure hygiene standards, quality by design, support the implementation of operational standards and strategies across Peroni factories (Bari, Roma, Padua) while maintaining and enhancing competence requirements.

🧩 Your Activities Will Include

• Developing materials and conducting training in the field of washing and hygiene processes to ensure quality standards in the Brewery (e.g. Kaizen Day)
• Provide operational technical support in hygienic requirements in Peroni plants (Bari, Roma, Padua) and continuous improvement activities on Good Manufacturing Practices
• Support implementation and execution of operational standards and strategies on hygiene subjects (e.g. PRP - hygiene, pest control, zoning)
• Reinforce and improve strategies, standards, processes, and activities, to fulfill the hygiene requirements
• Create and implement continuous improvement programs focused on hygiene and basic conditions prerequisite program (PRPs)
• Support and align the infrastructure and systems requirements necessary to consistently ensure hygiene requirements
• Ensuring the appropriate quality of processes, washing and disinfection plans in the CIP (Cleaning-in-Place) and COP (Cleaning-out of-Place) systems for the bottling and production department, through their validation, monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement
• Development and analysis of the results of validation of washing processes in cooperation with suppliers of cleaning agents (tests) and in relation to CIP standards
• Close cooperation with the supplier of cleaning agents to ensure proper hygiene in the production and bottling area
• Control of the implementation of the contract for the supplier of cleaning agents in terms of hygiene and fulfillment of service assumptions
• Recommending preventive/corrective actions in situations of deviations from the assumed quality indicators of washing processes
• Preparation of guidelines for the needs of hygienic audits and their implementation and control of the implementation of post-audit or corrective tasks (including Kaizen, CIP / COP validation)

  Who We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree: preferably in Food Science / Technology, Chemistry, Biology
• Experience almost 5 years of professional experience, whereof 3 years in Hygienist function
• Excellent expertise in microbiology and hygiene
• Proficiency in English and Italian - written and spoken.
• Capacity to work in a cross functional team and manage complex situations.
• Strong determination and results driven
