PROCUREMENT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Main purpose of the job

As a Procurement Operation Specialist, you will be accountable for providing system support to local/category procurement teams while ensuring compliance with all procurement processes and policies.

More specifically, you will be trusted to:

• Support the procurement team with all Ariba system-related activities, reflecting accurately and timely their procurement activity in the platform (content management).
• Act on behalf of the team to execute system-related tasks and ensure smooth operational processes.
• Ensure compliance with all procurement processes and policies when procurement activity is reflected in the system.
• Serve as a local subject matter expert for P2O and S2C systems and processes, responding to queries from the business and the local procurement team.
• Support the Vendor Master Data process from an operational perspective, ensuring data quality, risk management, and process efficiency.
• Execute Spot Buys following work instructions.
• Resolve supplier claims and issues with spot buys appropriately.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within local/category procurement by acting as a change agent and ensuring operational and transactional excellence.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through consistent, measurable feedback, frequent quality control, and SLA tracking.
• Deliver against procurement KPIs.

Do you have what it takes?

• University degree, preferably in a Business-related field
• Proficiency in English
• 2+ years of professional experience, including 1+ year in Procurement or basic procurement experience
• Experience with Ariba and system support
• MS Office intermediate
• Interest in working with procurement systems
