QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER BREWERY RADEGAST NOŠOVICE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and ensure the highest quality standards across all aspects of production at the Brewery Radegast Nošovice. This role focuses on the Czech and Slovak markets, ensuring quality control in raw materials, production, packaging, and customer service. You will lead a dedicated team, drive quality assurance improvements, and manage compliance with global and regional standards in brewing and food safety. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Control & Assurance: Oversee quality control for raw materials (barley, hops, water, malt) and beer production to guarantee top-quality final products.
• ISO Compliance: He/she is responsible for ISO 9001, ISO 22000 (FSSC), GMP+ and Chemical agents legal issues.
• Taster Training & Management: Lead tasting training, manage a tasting panel, and guide tasters' development to ensure product excellence.
• System & Standards Management: Implement and improve the Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring adherence to global brewing, packaging, hygiene, and product standards.
• Claims & Complaints: Handle customer complaints, manage product claims, and ensure a swift resolution to maintain brand reputation.
• Market Quality Control: Oversee in-trade control across the Czech and Slovak markets to uphold product quality in the market.
• Lab Management: Maintain lab assets, plan for equipment upgrades, conduct competitive product analyses and guarantee accurate results of analyses.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Education: University degree in Food Processing or a related field; ideally in brewing or malting.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in quality control within brewing or food processing, and at least 1 year in people management.
• Language: Fluent English, spoken and written (advanced).
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 22000, GMP+ standards, performance management, and HACCP practices.
• Management Skills: Proven experience in people management, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking for quality data assessment and compliance.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience in a multinational or high-compliance manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with the ASA Behavioral Framework for organizational behavior and leadership.
