We are looking for an experienced Local Category Manager with a strong focus on Supply Chain to lead a team and collaborate with regional and global procurement teams. What will you be working on? 

  • Lead and develop a procurement team focused on Supply Chain (mentoring, skills development, knowledge sharing). 
  • Work closely with regional and global procurement teams – procurement headquarters is based in Singapore. 
  • Strategically manage supplier relationships (Supplier Relationship Management) and ensure responsible procurement. 
  • Cooperate closely with the Supply Chain department to identify and implement innovations. 
  • Monitor internal customer feedback and contract fulfillment. 
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements. 
  • Support and implement e-sourcing activities. 

 

Who are we looking for? 

  • A senior manager with at least 5 years of experience in Procurement  
  • Proven experience in direct people management  
  • Previous experience with Supply Chain area  
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and risks. 
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of corporate processes. 
  • Fluent English – daily communication in an international environment. 
  • Czech or Slovak language at a native level. 
  • An open-minded approach to new technologies  

 

Nice to have: 

  • Experience in the FMCG sector. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 
  • A proactive approach and the ability to build long-term relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. 
  • Experience with change management
