About the Position
As the Supply Planning Manager, you will oversee end-to-end planning management, driving efficient materials management, production planning, capacity planning, and more. You'll be the key point of contact for coordinating demand and supply, managing S&OP processes, and optimizing costs to boost overall supply chain performance. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management, process improvement, and cost-saving opportunities to ensure our supply chain remains effective and resilient.
What will be your responsibilities:
• End-to-End Planning Management – Oversee the planning process for both domestic and & export demand, including material management & availability, returnable containers, and finished goods across all planning horizons.
• S&OP Process Management – Manage cross-functional S&OP processes, focusing on risk and opportunity management, and actions to address gaps in plans, targets, and budgets. Collaborate with external stakeholders.
• Performance Monitoring and Control – Control the execution of mid- and short-term plans, addressing performance gaps, and implementing corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
• Planning Systems and Tools – Own and develop planning systems and tools and support the implementation of new solution aligned with the regional planning team.
• Budgeting and Cost Optimization – Contribute key inputs for the annual budgeting process (MRP, production, distribution, containers capex, sales plans), ensuring continuous cost, capex, and working capital optimization.
• Service Level Management – Ensure reliable planning to deliver optimal service levels to customers at the best cost.
• Portfolio Complexity Management – Balance the complexity of the portfolio, perform portfolio analysis, and provide recommendations for decomplexify and harmonization. Manage product phase-outs with a focus on minimizing losses.
• NPD and NPI Process Ownership – Manage the NPD and NPI process within the supply chain, including feasibility studies, business case inputs, and planning of launches to ensure successful delivery while balancing supply chain losses and service levels.
• Team Development – Develop planning capability and skills within the team, ensuring continuity and excellence in the planning process.
• Strategic framework – Develops the strategic framework for all planning activities
• MTP – Prepare and coordinate MTP process and deliverables at country level with support in inputs from other local and central functions
Requirements:
• Master’s degree (preferably in economy, logistics, supply chain management or similar)
• 8+ years of experience in managing supply chain operations, logistics, procurement.
• 5+ years of experience in FMCG
• Expertise in operational research, mathematical methods, and statistics
• Entrepreneurial approach with focus on P&L impact and end-to-end supply chain optimization and efficiency improvements
• Strong Change management experience
• Experience in use of advanced planning and scheduling systems
• Superior knowledge of best practices in supply planning and logistics
• English (fluent)
