INSIGHTS SPECIALIST

Main purpose of the job

Work in the Strategic Planning and Insights (SP&I) department within Royal Grolsch /Asahi, together with colleagues from Marketing, Commercial Finance and Sales.

Provide the commercial organisation with relevant business insights from the market on a structural and ad hoc basis. Maintain and develop business performance reporting platforms (scorecards, PowerBI) and answer ad hoc strategic questions for the decision-making of the commercial team and/or the ExCo. Improve the position and performance of our strong brands, thereby contributing to the growth of Royal Grolsch/Asahi.

More specifically, you will be trusted to:  

• Work together with the rest of the commercial organization in NL/FR and colleagues in the rest of Europe.
• Develop the business intelligence discipline within Royal Grolsch, both in gathering the right insights and in the most effective way of sharing these insights.
• Create, interpret and share reports/scorecards about the performance of Royal Grolsch and its brands in the market (mostly Off Trade) in an efficient and effective way (within Royal Grolsch and within the European Asahi organization).
• Maintain data and optimizing processes.
• Update and maintain reports.
• Train users.
• Be the point of reference for internal users of our reports and PowerBI.
• Manage the relationship with external partners in your discipline and ensure focus, quality and timings within that.

Do you have what it takes?

• A completed HBO/WO education in commercial direction.
• Preferably 1-3 years of work experience in BI / analytics in FMCG.
• Excellent knowledge of MS office, experience with BI tools is a plus (preferably PowerBI).
• Good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing; Dutch language would be nice to have.
• Strong analytical skills, 'data driven'.
• Preferably knowledge of developing database structures for front-end reporting.
