Functional overview
#Digital aims to be the best strategic technology partner and enabler for AEI business to meet its strategic goals.  A regionally integrated function in which every employee plays a part. We are organised around business functions and empowered to achieve goals. We will harness capabilities with suitable technologies, together with a unified data model to enable and meet expected business outcomes. Our AEI behaviours and #Digital Principles will shape the way we collaborate across business functions, fusing and working together on joint goals, strategy and execution. The function is the forefront of new technologies, deliberately reducing the constraints of the ‘old’ and enabling the ‘new’, in order to contribute directly to the increasing expansion of our premium brands at scale.


The IT Business Partner will have end-to-end accountability to deliver all initiatives in her/his functional (business or #digital functions) area. This includes owning and managing the relationship with key clients in her/his functional area, to mentor, coach and manage a dedicated team of experienced project managers, solution architects and specialists delivering and supporting the AEI portfolio of business initiatives requiring the utilization of functional processes or tools. The incumbent will manage activities with support of the PMO group, workplace services, Security and other #digital areas to ensure proper execution of projects and support services under a regional strategy for both strategic and legacy systems. She/he will comply with Info Sec guidelines and instructions. The incumbent is part of the extended #digitalLT and the AEI functional leadership team (Supply Chain, HR, Finance, Procurement, etc.) 

 

  • To define and evolve an AEI functional strategy and roadmap.
  • Partner with Workplace Services, IS Management, business leadership and personnel to define and evolve a regional systems strategy for AEI.
  • Champion a regional design ensuring the proper integration and/or retirement of local solutions within the regional strategy.
  • Champion a regional design ensuring that on-going business requirements are being integrated with the proper systems approach.
  • To manage and deliver regional consulting, project management and support services for business process areas at AEI.
  • Deliver consulting services to properly define and shape business solutions utilizing relevant technologies.
  • Drive business value for dedicated functions
  • Manage a European portfolio of projects and services ensuring a high quality, cost effective, and sustainable service offering. 
  • Manage day-to-day support and other back-office services ensuring they are being delivered in a timely and cost efficient way.
  • Be a known and respected subject matter expert for dedicated functions related matters not only within AEI but also cross-industry/company
  • To develop an AEI, multi-site (functional) team with the right mix of internal and external resources.
  • Define and evolve an organizational roadmap that identifies internal capabilities needed to properly provide the required services.
  • Provide people development opportunities to team members through special assignments, training, coaching and mentoring.
  • Develop long-term partnerships with our eco-system partners for the provision of the required key services.
  • Provide a collaborative work environment that enables a fluid interaction among the team and with clients, partners and other key stakeholders.


Accountabilities and deliverables  

  1. Leads the AEI Application Development and Maintenance work stream related to dedicate functions delivering and supporting solutions through a balanced leverage of internal and external resources that maximizes overall business value and to ensure sustainability.
  2. Develops system strategies in partnership with the business management of dedicated functions and the broader Information Systems management – Workplace Services, IS Management, etc – aiming to drive for the greatest possible level of commonality across the region.
  3. Contributes to annual project portfolio by providing guidance to the solution shaping and estimating of potential projects with the PMO org, Workplace Services, IS Management, etc. 
  4. Manages AEI project initiatives and resources, resolving planning conflicts, priority issues and resistance to commonality.
  5. Manages AEI support services and resources, resolving issues that affecting system availability impacting the business normal operations.
  6. Manages teams and external resources – within a collaborative network, both on-shore and off-shore - providing governance and expertise in different subject areas.
  7. Develops skills and capabilities of internal and external resources within given functional area, assessing skills and capabilities to ensure they are deployed to the appropriate roles and at the most beneficial cost for AEI.
  8. Manages application delivery costs, personnel, project and support services to meet financial portfolio and service quality targets related to dedicated functions.

 

Do you have what it takes?

  • Master degree or equivalent in Technology or  business related 
  • 15+ years of professional experience, whereof 5+ years in IT managerial positions 
  • International experience required (accountability for delivering in/to different countries)
  • IT Technologies, Solutions lifecycle, ERP and other systems deployment, analytics, service leadership, business relationship and project management experience
  • Proficiency in English, SAP, Microsoft and MS Office
  • Sound financial management
