Main purose of the role:

A Demand Planner in our company is responsible for coordinating the cross-functional alignment process that lead to a reliable and on time consensus forecast. A Demand Planner will analyze in details the historical sales data and will collect and validate commercial input received prior integrating it into the forecast, effectively escalating risks & opportunities through scenario planning.

 

Your principals responsibilities are:

  • Create accurate demand forecast with various time granularity (monthly & weekly buckets) by analyzing historical sales data, marketing trends, internal/external factors that could have an impact in each product evolution and generate a baseline for the future horizon
  • Collect information regarding future commercial plans by managing monthly and weekly alignment discussions with cross-functional groups (Sales, Insights, Trade Marketing and Brands) that will be integrated in the final consensus plan for S&OP process
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities that could have an effect to the current demand plan and present to key stakeholders potential gap analysis along with corrective recommendations
  • Continuous refinement and validation of the proposed demand plan and used methodologies, providing various reports related to forecast accuracy, propose and implement solutions for better predictions, inventory levels and product availability
  • Ensure that demand plan is aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and goals across mis and long term planning
  • Contribute to strategic planning process by providing analytics supported by data-driven insights related to sales evolution and market demand
  • Collaborate with customers during collaborative forecast process when required and builds a customer-centricity mindset across the organization during forecast alignment process
  • Understanders facilitators and blockers across the chain and mediates communication between commercial and operational functions that will lead to delivering the goods to the customer as per requirement.
  • Analyze OOS root cause and identifies forecast accuracy failures for deliveries failures calculation. Takes corrective actions for forecast adjustments that would lead to an optimum stock level. 

 

We are looking for:

  • University degree: mathematics, statistics, IT, engineering, business, logistics;
  • Strong experience using Microsoft products, database oriented software or other planning tools;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Professional experience in FMCG in Commercial/Demand Planning (min 12M);
  • Solid understanding of inventory management and Supply Chain processes.
