MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Reviews and analyses demand & supply forecasting reports/data to support integrated demand and supply planning (aligned to the S&OP process)
- Evaluates investment choices from a financial perspective to provide a long-term perspective of the impact on costs
- Challenges and supports the development of the financial assumptions that underpin the Distribution & warehousing plan
Business Performance Management and Decision Support
- Manage the business performance measurement reports with detailed analysis and commentary to support the development of financial insights
- Assesses financial aspects of initiatives and projects relevant to its dedicated area using established financial evaluation tools (e.g. investment evaluation) and provides recommendations
- Decision Support for Planning, distribution and warehousing across the following areas: Capital Investment Management, Working Capital Management, Distribution Cost Management and Controllable Fixed Cost Management
Development & Continuous Improvement
- Accountable for financial capability improvement within the Supply Chain function; identifies and implements opportunities to drive advancement on the capability maturity staircase and project manages associated initiatives
- Implements various financial capability development initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum: Finance University graduate, 3-5 years’ post-qualifying
- ACCA, CIMA graduation
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Proficient with Microsoft office software with advanced excel skills
- SAP
- Professional experience:
- Experience in distribution or FMCG industry
