Role Overview:
This role is responsible for responsible for managing and growing our online community across various social media platforms. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a creative flair, dedicated to engaging with our audience, fostering relationships, and building brand loyalty through meaningful interactions by crafting concise and creative copy that captures the brand's voice, resonates with the target audience and drives engagement.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing brand teams to create comprehensive social media strategies to increase engagement, followers and brand awareness, by developing content calendars, campaigns and strategies that align with brand objectives, target audience preferences, and industry trends;
  • Tailors messaging and tone to fit the unique characteristics of each social media platform and audience segment, while maintaining brand consistency;
  • Develops and writes clear, concise, and compelling copy for social media posts, captions, ads, and other content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more;
  • Writes compelling calls-to-action (CTAs) and headlines to drive user engagement, clicks, and conversions;
  • Proofreads and edits copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines;
  • Work closely with graphic designers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of copy and visuals for cohesive storytelling;
  • Monitors social media channels for conversations, trends, and opportunities to engage with our audience in a timely and meaningful manner;
  • Responds to comments, messages, and inquiries with a customer-centric approach, addressing concerns and questions professionally and within agreed timeframe;
  • Moderate discussions and user-generated content to maintain a positive and inclusive online community environment;
  • Stay abreast of social media trends, emerging technologies, industry news, competitor activities, best practices, and platform updates to drive innovation for content creation and community growth;
  • Collaborate with social media managers to monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and optimize content strategies based on insights and results.

 

Requirements (must have):

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field;
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years as a Social Media Community Manager/Content Writer/Copywriter or in a similar role, demonstrating successful community engagement strategies;
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and analytics, with a strong understanding of best practices for community management.
