Role overview
The Brewery Trainer plays a critical role in enhancing the technical capabilities of brewery staff, driving business performance through effective learning and development initiatives. This position focuses on identifying training needs, designing and delivering technical and operational training programs, and maintaining up-to-date learning materials aligned with national legislation and global best practices.
Key responsibilities include facilitating the performance management process, supporting World Class Manufacturing (WCM) initiatives, managing training budgets, and leading cost-impact improvement projects. The role involves close collaboration with the Plant Director, Department Managers, and WCM leaders to ensure the continuous development of technical competencies across all operational areas.
Responsabilities:
Development and Maintenance of HRD Standards
- Identify training needs based on brewery strategies.
- Provide updated training programs and ensure relevant documentation is maintained.
- Support performance management processes and coordinate CAP initiatives.
Support for World-Class Manufacturing (WCM) Principles
- Facilitate training sessions aligned with WCM goals.
- Guide teams in applying WCM tools (5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Problem Solving).
- Support high-level problem-solving methods (SPC, FMEA, DMAIC).
Competency Standards Development
- Regularly update and maintain competency standards and assessments.
- Communicate evaluation results and create individual development plans.
- Monitor skill acquisition progress and prepare regular reports.
Training Process Administration
- Develop and coordinate training materials based on brewery needs.
- Manage relationships with external training providers and evaluate their performance.
- Support internal facilitators in delivering effective learning solutions.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare and share status reports on CAP implementation, training needs, and team dynamics.
- Ensure all training materials comply with legal and internal standards.
Decision-Making and Authority
- Decide on employee guidance within budget limits.
- Request updates or development of national procedures and work instructions.
- Conduct training and coaching in designated departments.
Health and Safety Compliance
- Adhere to relevant health and safety regulations and internal policies.
- Ensure alignment with integrated SHEQ management system procedures.
Requirements (must have):
Knowledge:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Solid understanding of World-Class Manufacturing (WCM) practices.
- Strong technical knowledge in Brewing, Quality Assurance, Packaging, or Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production.
- Basic knowledge of English.
- Advanced computer skills.
