Role overview
The Plant WCM Coordinator is accountable to plan, lead the implementation and maintenance of the World Class Manufacturing processes and practices at the brewery level, in a way that guarantees high levels of participation and motivation of all the employees.
Responsabilities:
- WCM Leadership: Lead and facilitate the application of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles throughout the plant, providing coaching and guidance.
- Improvement Initiatives: Identify, coordinate, and actively participate in improvement initiatives to support the plant strategy, ensuring accountability for implementation and monitoring progress.
- Process Management: Develop and implement plant plans in alignment with manufacturing strategy, auditing operational practices for compliance and improvement opportunities.
- Training and Development: Induct and continuously train new employees on WCM principles; assess training needs and manage annual training plans.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly evaluate GEM assessments and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and compliance with company standards.
- Problem Solving: Select and apply appropriate problem-solving methodologies; monitor project progress and coach staff to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements (must have):
- University degree.
- Minimum of 3 years in production.
- Experience in project management.
- Strong knowledge of problem-solving and improvement tools and techniques (e.g., SPC, Six Sigma, FMEA, HAZOP, Process Mapping, FFA).
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SAP software.
